This really isn't an issue since unless you're implying we don't need to
make any changes/extensions to the .x format there will be changes
necessary for the .x exporters.

From the program's perspective, XML is more easily readable and writable

not becuase its microsoft, but becuase its a private corporation, and
they're the "owners" of it, so if they decide to add their own extention
for anything we do, all those suckers at kinetix, alias wavefront,
newtek and whatnot, woudl support's microsofts suggested extensions.
But that is very minor compared to the fact that XMl is more standard
then .x
anywyas, the issue at hand is not the way its written to disk but thats
my view on the issue fo rwhen we get to it.
