I vote we need both. The XML is usefull, not necessarily for making
manual changes of the vertex data, but maybe if you have material data
in it. Also its usefull to see if the overall data in the file is
correct, and complete. The binary form though, IMHO, is more important,
since its more efficient for use in a distribution of an application.
Jorrit was talking about a binary XML form, I' don't really know
anything about that, but my main concern is whether or not the
binary-xml format is as efficient as any other binary format. To me, the
efficiency of the format is top priority.
